Halfway through the first half, Dayrell found the back of the net for the second time as he slotted a ball just out of reach of the keeper's grasp to give the home team a five goal advantage.

As the Colts were committed to the attack, defender Nicholas Barcenas Barbieri joined the scoring as he headed a beautiful cross by Luis Rodriguez Valencia into the back of the net to put NMMI up by seven.

To end the half, Pedro Rocha Dionizio dribbled past four Tiger defenders and found the back of the net with a low driven shot to give NMMI the 8-0 lead heading into halftime.
