Colts place 2nd at District Meet in Tularosa
The Boys and Girls Colt track athletes are off to state after wrapping up the season with a competitive meet in Tularosa at the District 4-3A championship. The boys took 2nd place, and the girls put in all the effort that they could. The boys and girls Colt athletes who either qualified by times and marks, or who placed first or second at the district meet, will go on to compete at the NMAA 3A State Track and Field Championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Bounds and Miller sign to play at the next level
Setter Dilean Bounds and outside hitter Allison Miller signed national letters of intent to continue their volleyball careers at the next level during a small gathering with their teammates, coaches, friends and supporters last week at the Cahoon Armory.

Broncos drop final pair of games against Howard College Friday afternoon
On Friday afternoon, New Mexico Military Institute hosted Howard College for the final doubleheader of the regular season at the NMMI Ballpark. With a 9-8 loss in game one and a 12-1 loss in the final games of the series, NMMI concludes the year with a 12-24 record in conference play with a 24-30 overall record. With the pair of wins, Howard improves to 21-15 in conference play with a 27-25 overall mark.

Broncos drop both games of Thursday’s doubleheader with Howard College
On Thursday afternoon New Mexico Military Institute dipped to 12-22 in conference play with a 24-28 overall record with an 8-2 loss in game one and an 11-1 setback in game two of the series. Howard College improves to 19-15 in conference play with a 25-25 overall mark.

Colts conclude the regular season at the Roswell City Meet
The boys and girls Colt track and field team showed up to the Roswell city track meet on Friday April 25, 2025 to compete and see who was the fastest school in Roswell. NMMI proved their worth after multiple athletes qualified for state, and made it to the podium for their winning medal.

Colts take down Tularosa 11-8 on Monday night
On Monday night New Mexico Military ended the month of April with a 9-1 record, picking up an 11-8 win over Tularosa at the NMMI Ballpark. With the win, the Colts move to 17-6 overall on the year. Taking a break from district play, Tularosa dips to 13-7 on the season.
