  • Colts place 2nd at District Meet in Tularosa

    The Boys and Girls Colt track athletes are off to state after wrapping up the season with a competitive meet in Tularosa at the District 4-3A championship. The boys took 2nd place, and the girls put in all the effort that they could. The boys and girls Colt athletes who either qualified by times and marks, or who placed first or second at the district meet, will go on to compete at the NMAA 3A State Track and Field Championships in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
  • Colts conclude the regular season at the Roswell City Meet

    The boys and girls Colt track and field team showed up to the Roswell city track meet on Friday April 25, 2025 to compete and see who was the fastest school in Roswell. NMMI proved their worth after multiple athletes qualified for state, and made it to the podium for their winning medal.
  • Colts compete at the Clovis Wildcat Relays
    April 22, 2025
    On the 17th of April, the Colt athletes of the NMMI track and field team accepted the challenge of a hard track meet against eleven other notable teams at the Clovis Wildcat Relays, held in Clovis NM. The Boys Colt track and field team was able to accomplish a tie of 16 points for 10th place with Carlsbad High School. Unfortunately for the Lady Colts, the competition was hard, and they wound up placing last with only three points. While the boys and girls teams may not have stolen first place, there were a few individual athletes who were able to qualify for state, giving them a chance for redemption!
  • Colts Take 1st Place with multiple State Qualifiers at the Hagerman Track and Field Meet

    The NMMI Colt Track and Field team delivered an amazing performance at the 2025 Alfalfa Cup Hagerman Track Meet. The team results were outstanding, the male Colts varsity team placed 1st with 137 points, and the Lady Colts placed 5th with 49 points on Friday, April 11. At this point in the season, the NMAA State Track and Field Championships are less than a month away, and beyond the teams score, there are a few athletes who were able to individually qualify for state at the Hagerman track meet.
