  • Colts end the 2025 season with 54-8 loss to St. Michael’s in the state semifinals

    On Saturday afternoon, New Mexico Military made their third consecutive appearance in the NMAA State Semifinal. The Colts suffered a 54-8 loss to St. Michael’s, ending the season with an 8-5 overall record. With the win, St. Michael’s improved to 12-0 on the year and earned a spot in the state championship next Saturday.

    The New Mexico Military Institute Colt football team won a shootout in Pojoaque against the Elks, 42-28, to advance to the semifinals of the NMAA Class 3A State Playoffs for the third-straight year.

    On Friday, November 14, New Mexico Military will travel over 200 miles to Pojoaque Valley, NM for their quarterfinal matchup with Pojoaque Valley at 6 p.m. The Colts look to make back-to-back appearances in the NMAA State Semifinals.

    At Colt Field on the New Mexico Military Institute campus on Saturday, the fifth-seeded Colts galloped over the No. 12 Wingate Bears, 48-7, to win their first round match-up in the NMAA Football Class 3A State Playoffs.
  • Colts outlast Cathedral 35-27 in regular season finale

    On Friday night New Mexico Military Institute ended the regular season with a 35-27 win over Cathedral High School at Colt Field. With the win the Colts end the regular season with a 6-4 overall record. With the loss, Cathedral dips to 2-6 on the season.

    On Friday night New Mexico Military Institute ended their district slate with a 35-26 win over Ruidoso High in Ruidoso, NM. With the win, the Colts improved to 4-2 in district play with a 5-4 overall record. With the loss, Ruidoso dips to 4-5 overall and 3-2 in district play.

    On Friday night New Mexico Military completed their second shutout win of the season with a 28-0 win over Cobre High School at Colt Field. With the win the Colts improve to 3-1 in district play with a 4-3 overall record. With the loss, Cobre falls to 0-3 in district play with a 1-6 overall record.

    On Friday night New Mexico Military Institute improved to 3-3 on the year with a 36-33 win over Hatch Valley High School at Colt Field. With the win the Colts improve to 2-1 in conference play while Hatch Valley falls to 3-4 overall with a 1-2 mark in conference play.
