Lady Colts win consolation match at Gateway tourney

The Lady Colt Volleyball team defeated Mescalero 3-2 Saturday afternoon at the Lady Warrior Invitiational at Gateway Christian School in Roswell.

After earning the No. 3 seed in pool play Friday, NMMI lost their first-round matchup against second-seeded Reserve, but turned things around Saturday morning with a win over Chesterton before the consolation championship/fifth-place match against Mescalero.
