Head Coach Oliver Soukup on the win, "very proud of our guys, in terms of how they responded to every situation… it's a tough trip and they handled that well, plus a delay we could've made all those excuses but we didn't. We responded as we had to and I couldn't be more proud of the guys," Soukup said. "Jake South played a phenomenal game not only  just managing the offense but running when he had to and getting the ball in the hands of the guys he needed to." Soukup said.

NMMI returns to action on Saturday, October 25 as they host Trinity Valley Community College in the Wool Bowl at 2 p.m. for Homecoming weekend.
