Lady Colt Varsity Volleyball to compete in Lady Warrior Invitational

The Lady Colt Varsity Volleyball team stays in town this weekend to play in the Lady Warrior Invitational at Gateway Christian School Friday and Saturday.

Pool play begins at 8:30 a.m. Friday with NMMI taking on the host Gateway Lady Warriors. NMMI plays again at 11:30 a.m. against Hondo and at 1:30 p.m. against Legacy.

Pool matches will consist of two games played to 25 points with a cap of 27 points. Seeding ties will be broken by head-to-head record followed by least total points allowed.

Bracket matches begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday and continue on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. The championship match begins at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

An awards ceremony will be held immedately after the championship game.
