Lady Colts win final home match of regular season

The New Mexico Military Institute lady Colt volleyball team defeated the Vaughn lady Eagles in three straight sets 25-8, 25-5, 25-8 on Thursday in Godfrey Athletic Center.

The lady Colts had 20 service aces during the match as 12 of them came in set number two. One of the standout players for NMMI was Casey Day who had five service aces and seven kills during the match.

Head lady Colt volleyball coach Stephanie Schooley saw a lot of progression with her team today.

Coach Schooley said, “We had a lot of effort practices this week. We put the score so they are under pressure to finish and we finished today.”

NMMI will play their final game of the regular season in Dexter at 6 PM.
