The NMMI Colt and Lady Colt tennis teams took on the Moriarty Pintos in a district prelim on a windy afternoon on the NMMI campus.

 The Colts defeated Moriarty 9-0 and the Lady Colts defeated Moriarty 7-2.

 “I am really proud of our kids,” said head coach John Barbour. “The conditions weren’t ideal, but our kids performed very well.”

 Both NMMI teams will participate in another Dual match against District 4-4A opponent Portales tomorrow afternoon at 12:00 PM at the NMMI Tennis Courts.
