Trinidad State Junior College exploded for 46 points in the second half, enroute to a 71-64 win against the Broncos on Friday.

NMMI held a 33-25 lead at halftime, but couldn't keep pace with the Trojan offense in the second, despite 19 points from sophomore Chris Bready and 14 more from soph Latik Murphy.

Foward Jonathan Salazar - who posted a double-double on Tuesday vs. Seward County CC with 16 points and 14 rebounds - was again NMMI's big-man on the boards, but was held to just five points by the TSJC defense.

With the loss, the Institute falls to 0-2 on the season; they'll face Dodge City Community College tomorrow afternoon at home in the Godfrey Athletic Center at 2:30 pm MDT.
