This will be Matthew Robledo’s first year working as the Sports Information Assistant for New Mexico Military Institute.

After switching majors during his undergrad, Robledo earned his bachelor’s in Journalism and Mass Communications from New Mexico State University in 2022, while minoring in both sports marketing and marketing.

Robledo began work in athletics as an intern for New Mexico State in the athletics department, where he had a hand in all sports. In 2021, Robledo was tasked as serving as a primary media contact for the Track and Field squad at New Mexico State University.

In 2022, Robledo served as a Graduate Assistant for the athletic department at East Tennessee State University. At ETSU he served as the primary media contact for four different Division I programs.
