HOBBS, NM - At New Mexico Junior College's nine-team invitational meet, head coach Jan Olesinski and his Lady Broncos finished fifth as a team.

Freshman Esther Boram, from Papau, New Guinea, was NMMI's top placer at sixth.

NMMI had two more runners in the top 20, Sierra Walker with a 10th-place finish, and Kalya Sisneros in 16th.

The next meet for the Institute women will be the South Plains Cross Country Invite in Levelland, TX on Oct. 7.
