The Lady Colt volleyball team dropped their second match of the season, allowing the visiting Loving Falcons to fly away with a three-set win: 26-24, 25-8, 25-21.

Despite the loss, head Lady Colt volleyball coach Stephanie Schooley was proud that her team fought back and did not give up.

“We were not aggressive in the beginning of the first set," said coach Schooley. "When we woke up and played like we know how to play, we were able to come back and tie the set 24-24, but unfortunately it didn’t go our way. I have to give the girls credit they could have given up being down as much as they were, but they didn’t - they fought the whole set. We had too many over-passes tonight and Loving capitalized on every opportunity. I am proud of how the girls fought today. I see progress every day and I hope the girls see it too.”

Up next for the Lady Colts is the Warrior Invitational at Gateway Christian High School where they will start pool play on Friday morning at 8:30 AM facing Lake Arthur. The first round of bracket play will take place on Friday afternoon and the second and third rounds of bracket play will be on Saturday.
