On Friday, July 10, the NJCAA released its All-Academic awards for the 2019-2020 school year.

Student-athletes have to meet the requirements by having a GPA of 3.6 or higher for the year.

Criteria breakdown:

  • First team: 4.0
  • Second team: 3.8-3.99
  • Third team: 3.6-3.79

Of the 9,555 student-athletes that made the list, 11 of them are from New Mexico Military Institute.

Five student-athletes were represented by baseball and three from both volleyball and football.

The Bronco baseball squad was one of 1,026 teams to earn a collective GPA of 3.0 or better as they sported a 3.09 GPA for the year.

  • Jaren Banks (Soph.) (Second team)
  • Chaney Hardt (Soph.) (Second team)
