The last game for the New Mexico Military Institute Lady Colt volleyball team did not pan out the way the envisioned it as they dropped a five set match to the Dexter Lady Demons. The set scores were 17-25, 25-16, 23-25, 25-21, 15-8

Head Lady Colt volleyball coach Stephanie Schooley was proud of the way her team played and grew all season long.

“We had some really good moments tonight, said Coach Schooley we have been working on more communication I feel like we did that for the most part of the match. I am super proud of the girls. We have been through a lot this season and the girls needed to step up and they did. We made so many improvements throughout the year. Rilan Maloney and Dana Douglas really stepped up and would set the tone for our games. They are true leaders and they developed a lot of leadership skills this season. I also feel like the girls got more aggressive throughout the year. In the beginning we would be scrambling to get anything back over the net. By the end of the season we were in systems setting up plays. I am super proud of my seniors Madison Sandoval, Valerie Bandy, Dana Douglas, and Rory Kinnally it is hard to let them go.”
