The New Mexico Military Institute Bronco Men's and Women's tennis team took on the Mustangs of the University of the Southwest on a windy day in Hobbs, NM on Thursday afternoon.
Both NMMI teams defeated the Mustangs fairly easily on the Hobbs High School tennis courts.
The Broncos defeated USW 6-3, and the Lady Bronco's defeated USW 8-1.
"Our top four players played excellent today," said Bronco men's head coach Daniel Dominguez. "I knew we were going to come out and compete and we did that today."
"Our teams is really shaping up really nicely and I am happy with how they performed today," said Bronco women's head coach Dan O'Connell.
Both NMMI teams will be back in action at home March 31st, against the University of Texas- Permian Basin after spring break.
