Coach Nelson grew up in a small town in Oregon.

He earned his Master’s Degree in Education Infotech and undergrad in Business at the Western Oregon University.

While at WOU, he helped start a fraternity, Greek Life, and was the first undergraduate assistant for the Wolves football team to be turned into a coach, then G.A.

Nelson started out coaching at WOU under quarterbacks, but spent time with several offensive groups, including running backs, receivers and tight ends.
