Members of last season's varsity Colt baseball team were awarded their state championship rings at a banquet last Friday.

It took a while to get them, but the members of last season's varsity Colt baseball, that won the 2022 NMAA's Class 3A State Championship, were awarded rings as part of banquet ceremony on Friday evening in the Gold Room on the NMMI campus.
Head coach Charlie Ward and assistant coach Steven Rogers, both of whom retired after the 2022 title tilt, were also awarded an NMMI saber for their many years of service. The dynamic duo took over the Colt baseball program in 2000, winning back-to-back state championship titles in 2001 and 2002, before last season's finale.
