Seven New Mexico Military Institute Colt baseball players were named to the All-District 4/5-3A team.

NMMI finished a stellar season going 23-6 overall after being crowned Class 3A state champions for the first time since 2002.

Four of the seven players earned first-team honors.

Luis A. Patron was named first-team All-District after going 9-1 on the mound with a 1.06 ERA in 14 games started.

He tallied 161 strikeouts, which ranked second in the nation, according to MaxPreps.

Patron had a no-hitter on March 19 against Loving during the championship of the Hal Bogle tournament. The Colts won 13-0 as Patron struck out 20 batters.
