Coach Ford enters his second stint at New Mexico Military Institute after having worked at the Institute for four years from 2015 to 2019.

A former wide receiver at NCAA Division I Wagner College in Staten Island, N.Y., Ford got his start as a graduate assistant coach at Wagner for two years.

In addition, he also spent six months as the receivers coach at Wagner.

Before returning to NMMI in 2020, Ford was the lead strength coach at Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas, where he assisted the Army's Second Brigade team, First Armored Division of the 101st Cavalry Regiment for a year.

Ford has a certification in Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certified Strength (CSCS). He obtained a bachelors in criminal justice while minoring in sociology.
